About

My name is Wesley S. Ray (Wes Ray, Wes S. Ray) and I am a web developer based in Austin, TX. I started my web development career at the ripe age of 14. Of course it started off with only HTML and javascript mainly but I soon transitioned to Flash making small movies and doing a bit of programming here and there. All at the same time my interest pivoted to networking and hardware. I learned my fair share of it and began to grow tired of the monotonicity of the work I was doing. By 18 I started college, majoring in Computer Science and Math I learned a good amount of C/C++. I found school to be something I disliked (still). So I left my junior year of college to take a break. During this time I reconnected with a good hometown friend, Bryan who was an extremely proficient web programmer. Doing so he influenced me to start doing web programming for myself. The work was invigorating and we soon started to work together at the same company. I’ve been at it for several years now and am still very passionate about my work.
